Team History
The Allnighters · Est. 1992 · Peabody, MA
Our Story
The Allnighters Softball team was founded in 1992 as part of the North Shore Restaurant League in the Peabody, Massachusetts area. In those early days, the team was a coed squad — a mix of players from the restaurant industry who shared a love of the game and a love of a cold one after it.
What started as a fun summer league team quickly developed into something more — a brotherhood (and sisterhood) of players who showed up every season, brought their best, and stuck around long after the final out. Over time, the team transitioned into the Peabody Men's Intramural Softball League (PMISL), where the Allnighters have competed in Division 3 and made their mark on the North Shore softball scene.
Even as the primary league became men's-only, the Allnighters have never forgotten their roots. When charity events, tournaments, or special leagues come around, the doors open back up to coed play — keeping the inclusive spirit of 1992 alive.
Through lineup changes, champion runs, tough seasons, and everything in between, the one constant has been the team itself. The Allnighters represent more than just wins and losses — they represent three-plus decades of community, competition, and camaraderie on the diamond.
